Qa Joanna Gearyoremus Onezero Joanna Geary is the previous Editor-in-Chief for OneZero the website that is part of Medium which focuses on knowledge and science. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the campus of the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. From 2016 until the year 2017, Geary was the head of News Product at Twitter, where she was in charge of the team that developed the information product of Twitter and also its collaborations.
Geary worked as a journalist for more than 10 years. She was a reporter for The Guardian from 2006 to 2011 when she covered a broad range of topics including technology media, media as well as commercials. She was also the US business editor at The Guardian from 2011 to 2013. 2013 was the year that Geary was fired from The Guardian to join The Times, the place she was Chief for Social and Audience till 2016.
